Location & sizing
We would prefer that all Abalone is picked up at the point of landing. These landing points are where the abalone are ‘beach weighed’ and will ensure you receive the freshest live Abalone possible. Landing points vary and are typically just boat ramps.
Stony Point Boat Ramp is the most common location we dive and prices given are generally based on pick up from this location.
Abalone are caught along a wide section of the Victorian coastline and as such the minimum size limits vary accordingly. An important point is that most Abalone will be larger than the min size limit.
